Platinum Balloons didn’t start as a balloon company. It started with a family that has spent more than 30 years bringing celebrations to life across South Jersey.
Long before the first balloon arch went up, the Platinum name was already known for helping families and businesses celebrate the moments that matter. What began with Platinum House of Sweets, crafting custom cakes and dessert tables for weddings, showers, and birthdays, grew into something bigger: a full family of event brands built around one idea. Every celebration deserves to feel extraordinary.
Balloons were the natural next step. [Founder name] saw that clients planning a party wanted more than a cake. They wanted a full look. A room that felt as good as the cake tasted. So Platinum Balloons was born, bringing custom balloon garlands, arches, columns, and installations to the same events the family had already been part of for years.
What started as an add-on to existing events quickly became its own passion. There’s something different about walking into a room and watching someone’s face when they see it fully transformed. That reaction, more than anything, is why the team keeps pushing every design further.

Platinum Balloons celebrated its official grand opening with a celebration as big as the moments we create for our clients. The community came out to celebrate with us, and the local press took notice too.

At Platinum Balloons, our grand opening was more than a ribbon cutting. It was the next chapter in a family business that’s been serving South Jersey for more than three decades.
Today, Platinum Balloons serves families celebrating birthdays, showers, and graduations, and businesses looking to make a grand opening or corporate event unforgettable. From an intimate backyard party to a large-scale grand opening celebration, the same care goes into every design.
As demand grew, so did the business. What started as event-based installations has grown into a dedicated retail storefront, giving the community a place to walk in, browse balloon designs in person, and work directly with the design team on their next celebration.
Today, Platinum Balloons stands alongside Platinum House of Sweets, Platinum Parking, and Platinum Driving as part of the Platinum Event Planning family. A locally owned company still doing what it’s always done: showing up for South Jersey’s biggest moments, one celebration at a time.
